Job Description
This position is located in Division of Guidance, Rulemaking, Economic Analysis, and Technical Editing, Economic Analysis and Liaison Branch. The supervisor is Matthew Burton. This position is subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements. This position is not subject to security ownership restriction reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
is defined as: independently interpreting and applying the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA), 5 CFR Part 1320, and related regulations to complex or multi-office information collection requests; conducting authoritative analyses of information collection requirements, including cost, programmatic, and technological impacts; developing or revising policies, procedures, or guidance for information collection activities; providing technical advisory services and training to staff and management; reviewing and validating justifications for information collections, including those associated with rulemaking; and negotiating and representing organizational positions with OMB or other external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Demonstrated knowledge and application of Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA), 5 CFR Part 1320, and Related Regulations. Technical Expertise in Managing Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) Compliance and Agency Policy Development. Analytical Integration and Technical Evaluation (Cost, Programmatic, and Technical Impact). Advanced Communication, Negotiation, and Training. Rulemaking Guidance and Regulatory Text Review.
