Job Title:
Digital Design Coordinator / Data Management Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Digital Design Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting design data operations. This position is key to ensuring structured digital environments that aid sculpting, engineering, and milling communities. As part of our team, you will combine deep PLM expertise with process innovation and relationship-building skills to enhance efficiency and scalability. You will lead efforts to automate workflows, support Siemens Teamcenter Active Workspace transitions, and align work with our design technology strategy, focusing on data integrity and process excellence. Responsibilities Build and maintain structured Teamcenter assemblies for 3D CAD data across internal databases. Apply knowledge of vehicle builds, including trim levels and parts, to ensure accurate data organization. Conduct audits to eliminate stacked parts, resolve gaps, and maintain the integrity of the Persistent Digital Model (PDM). Lead efforts to automate manual processes through scalable solutions. Collaborate with IT and Design Technology to prepare for Active Workspace adoption. Define and implement best practices for data structure and milestone readiness. Monitor and resolve Teamcenter-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes. Partner with IT to manage defect resolution and production stability. Document and communicate changes, ensuring transparency and readiness across teams. Ensure proactive data readiness for each program phase and support design patent processes. Develop and support training materials for Teamcenter in collaboration with Global Design Training. Act as a mentor and resource for cross-functional teams, promoting consistency in methods and tool usage. Capture business requirements and develop use cases for process improvement projects. Lead validation testing for Teamcenter upgrades, including test case creation and issue tracking. Foster innovation and accountability by building strong relationships with engineering, program management, and sculpting partners. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience with Teamcenter NX. Strong knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter RAC, Active Workspace, TcVis, and NX integration. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with global business, IT, engineering, and design partners. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to lead process improvements. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with automation concepts, scripts, templates, or PLM configuration. Work Environment This role requires a collaborative work environment where communication with global partners is essential. You will have access to advanced technologies and tools such as Teamcenter NX and Siemens Teamcenter Active Workspace. The position involves working under tight timelines to manage multiple priorities effectively. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Warren, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $46.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
