Job Details:

BS or BA in Information Systems or related field preferred Strong knowledge of database design principles in relational and data warehousing environment Highly competent in database performance tuning, creation of right indexing strategy to meet data growth needs and query optimization Strong SQL skills to provide code review and tuning feedback to the development and reporting team Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with business and technical teams. Effectively communicates and documents technical architecture and solutions to internal peer groups as well as other groups Strong knowledge of database administration, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and systems analysis procedures Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Minimum of two years of professional experience in a

DB2 Z/OS

environment and/or MS SQL Server environment Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server integration and reporting services Self-motivation and remains flexible in a dynamic work environment A team player with solid communication skills, excellent at problem solving, troubleshooting, and embracing new challenges Ability to manage time across multiple, simultaneous projects, with attention to detail. Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a member of a team, as well as the maturity to work independently
