Data Manager/Office Assistant

Principal/SIS Coordinator

EDUCATION

AND TRAINING REQUIRED

Associate Degree preferred

Student Information System experience in the educational field preferred

Two years of work experience one of which is data entry or a year of work directly related to a computer system which requires knowledge of editing

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT

Full-time

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND DISPOSITIONS

Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Ability to work cooperatively and constructively with a team

Confident and comfortable working with the public

General knowledge of computers and computer software programs with the ability to troubleshoot software problems remotely

Strong administrative skills to interpret county and state policies governing enrollment/withdrawal, academic, attendance, immunizations, and health records

Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and exercise independent judgment in correcting data errors or omissions

Ability to use discretion to structure tasks to meet expectations and effectively prioritize to meet deadlines

Ability to communicate well with school personnel, parents, and students, while complying with confidentiality requirements in local, state, and federal policies

Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment

Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills with broad and diverse audiences

Behave as a positive role model both professionally and personally

Ability to assist bookkeeper with office duties when necessary
