MEP / QAQC

Coordinator to support quality assurance and quality control activities on large-scale, mission-critical data center projects. The

MEP / QAQC

Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, QA/QC leadership, trade partners, commissioning teams, and client representatives to ensure that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are installed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and quality standards. This is a field-oriented position requiring someone who can operate effectively in an active construction environment, identify issues before they become problems, maintain accurate documentation, and work collaboratively with multiple contractors and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has data center or other mission-critical construction experience and understands the complexity of coordinating MEP systems within highly controlled environments. Key Responsibilities MEP Quality Control Support day-to-day QA/QC activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Perform field inspections and verify installations against approved construction documents, specifications, and manufacturer requirements. Identify deficiencies, non-conforming work, installation issues, and potential quality concerns. Assist with development, tracking, and closeout of punch lists and deficiency items. Verify that corrective actions are completed and properly documented. Participate in inspections, testing, and quality walks with project stakeholders. Review work for proper installation, workmanship, labeling, cleanliness, accessibility, and maintainability. Help ensure work is completed in accordance with project quality requirements and applicable codes. Construction Documentation Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation and project records. Assist with inspection and test plans (ITPs), checklists, inspection reports, and quality records. Track submittals, RFIs, design changes, field changes, and related quality documentation. Review drawings and specifications to identify quality requirements and inspection points. Maintain organized documentation supporting project turnover and commissioning. Support collection and verification of as-built information. Assist with turnover packages, O&M documentation, warranties, test reports, and other closeout requirements. Field Coordination Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, commissioning teams, and client representatives. Participate in daily and weekly coordination meetings as required. Communicate quality expectations clearly to trade partners. Escalate quality concerns quickly and appropriately. Help identify potential quality issues before they impact schedule, cost, commissioning, or client expectations. Support coordination between MEP trades where installations interface or overlap. Assist field leadership with resolving technical and quality-related issues. Data Center / Mission-Critical Requirements Understand the unique quality requirements associated with mission-critical construction. Support quality control activities around critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure. Understand the importance of redundancy, reliability, maintainability, and operational readiness. Coordinate quality activities around equipment such as: MV/LV electrical distribution Switchgear Transformers Generators UPS systems PDUs Busway

units Pumps Cooling towers Piping systems Fire protection Plumbing systems Support construction and commissioning teams through system turnover and project completion. Qualifications 3+ years of construction

QA/QC, MEP

coordination, or related field experience. Experience working on data center, mission-critical, industrial, semiconductor, healthcare, or similarly complex construction projects. Strong understanding of MEP construction processes and sequencing. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and equipment documentation. Experience performing field inspections and documenting deficiencies. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively with subcontractors, vendors, field leadership, and clients. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work in an active construction environment and travel as required. Preferred Experience with Procore or similar construction management platforms. Experience with BIM/VDC coordination. Experience with commissioning and turnover processes. Experience developing or managing ITPs and quality checklists. Familiarity with MEP equipment startup, testing, and commissioning. OSHA 30 or other relevant safety training. QA/QC certifications or relevant trade certifications. Experience working on hyperscale data center campuses.
