Job Description
Job Description A local government customer is seeking a Data Architect Lead to support a major flight test and digital transformation initiative. Approximately 50% of the role will focus on developing the long-term data strategy and architecture vision for engineering, flight test, and certification programs. This individual will evaluate technical data coming from numerous sources and establish a scalable framework for how that information is organized, accessed, and utilized across the enterprise. 25% of the role will involve serving as the program lead for strategic initiatives, including schedule, budget, resource planning, and execution oversight for key efforts. The remaining 25% will focus on supporting implementation of digital program management tools and driving adoption of data-driven processes across engineering organizations. https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, Structural, or related discipline)
- 5+ years supporting engineering data environments, digital engineering initiatives, or technical data architecture efforts - Experience working with large engineering, flight test, simulation, analysis, or experimental datasets - Experience developing data strategies, digital ecosystems, or frameworks for managing engineering information across multiple systems
- 1+ years of technical leadership, project leadership, or program management experience ( scheduling, budget etc)
- Ability to obtain a clearance
- Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Active Clearance
- Flight test, aircraft certification, aerospace development, or DoD experience
- Experience with PLM systems, Digital Thread, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), or Engineering Data Management
- Experience supporting AFRL, AFLCMC, Air Force, aviation, or aircraft development programs
