Ready to be part of our team? We are looking for a BIM Manager for our Deland, FL office! This is an in-office position in our Deland location (5 days in office, no remote/WFH). Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking BIM Manager to join our Digital Construction Team. This role is responsible for developing and governing BIM standards, maintaining and enhancing BIM libraries, overseeing platform integrations, supervising content creation, and leading the organization's evolution from 2D drafting to fully coordinated, data-rich 3D workflows. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Building Information Modeling, strong proficiency in computational design tools such as Dynamo, and hands-on experience with the Autodesk Ecosystem, administering Autodesk Forma (formerly Construction Cloud - ACC) environments to streamline collaboration and project delivery. This position also plays a key role in reducing rework, mitigating risks associated with technology enhancements, and ensuring efficient data flow into downstream systems such as ERP platforms. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
Essential Duties:
BIM Architecture Develop, implement, and maintain BIM workflows and standards aligned with Autodesk Forma solutions. Architect scalable BIM processes that enhance coordination, data quality, and project efficiency. Manage and refine parametric modeling standards to ensure accurate, efficient integration with ERP systems. Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology enhancements, ensuring stable and reliable BIM operations. Autodesk Forma Administration Manage Autodesk Forma modules, including permissions, project setup, templates, document control, and workflow automation. Ensure Autodesk Forma environments support seamless collaboration across internal teams and external partners. Continuously improve Autodesk Forma workflows to reduce rework, eliminate inefficiencies, and support consistent project delivery. Computational Design & Automation Create, maintain, and deploy Dynamo scripts to automate repetitive tasks, improve model quality, and enhance productivity. Identify opportunities for computational design solutions that reduce manual effort and improve consistency. Support automation initiatives that strengthen data accuracy and reduce downstream system errors. Library & Content Management Develop, maintain, and govern BIM libraries, ensuring accuracy, standardization, and ease of access. Oversee the creation, QA, and lifecycle management of BIM content across disciplines. Ensure all company products remain current and accurately represented within BIM models, maintaining change control workflows so product updates, revisions, and configuration changes are properly reviewed, approved, and reflected across all coordinated models. Manage content standards and parametric modeling parameters sourced from the Product Information Management (PIM) system, supporting the integration between PIM and BIM to ensure accurate, efficient data flow into ERP systems and reduce downstream rework. Integration Oversight Coordinate BIM integrations with project management, construction, ERP, PIM, and visualization platforms. Evaluate and implement new tools or plugins that strengthen interoperability and data flow. Monitor integration performance and proactively address technology-related risks or bottlenecks. Collaboration Mentor BIM specialists, modelers, drafters, and coordinators to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to standards. Foster strong communication between architects, engineers, and construction teams to align BIM efforts with project goals. Address and remove barriers identified by Engineering and Design teams related to project-specific conditions or workflow challenges. Collaborate with third-party partners involved in BIM modeling to ensure product standards, content accuracy, and modeling practices remain consistent with internal requirements. 2D to 3D Transformation Manage the transition from 2D drafting to 3D model-based workflows, applying best practices and effective change management principles. Support teams through process adoption, ensuring clarity, consistency, and reduced rework during the transformation. Training & Support Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support for BIM tools, Autodesk Forma workflows, and Dynamo automation. Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement across all digital construction functions. Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in BIM management or a similar role within the AEC industry. Strong understanding of BIM standards, model coordination, and data-driven workflows. Demonstrated experience managing BIM libraries and content creation. Proven ability to develop and maintain Dynamo scripts or similar computational design tools. Relevant certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, Forma/ACC accreditation) are a plus.
Computer Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, and Autodesk Forma (ACC/BIM 360). Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and
Outlook Other Skills and Requirements:
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish Ability to travel as needed. Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with professionalism. Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
