Full-Time Job Description We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in AWS Data Lake, Snowflake, Glue, and PySpark to design and implement scalable cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting modern data solutions, optimizing ETL pipelines, and enabling enterprise analytics capabilities across large-scale financial datasets. Key Responsibilities Design and develop enterprise-grade data architecture solutions using AWS cloud technologies. Build and manage scalable AWS Data Lake solutions for structured and unstructured data. Design and optimize Snowflake data warehouse architecture and data models. Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark . Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to define data strategies and requirements. Ensure data governance, security, scalability, and high availability across platforms. Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and processing performance. Implement best practices for data quality, metadata management, and monitoring. Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives. Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teams. Required Skills Strong experience with AWS Data Lake Architecture Expertise in Snowflake data warehouse development and optimization Hands-on experience with AWS Glue Strong programming experience in PySpark Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and big data processing Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Lambda, IAM, Redshift, EC2, CloudWatch, etc. Strong SQL and data modeling experience Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices in cloud environments Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in the Financial Services domain preferred AWS or Snowflake certifications are a plus Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Familiarity with data governance and security standardsSimilar remote jobs
