Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing data to ensure its accuracy and accessibility for the organization. Coordinates reporting for all Quality programs. Coordinates medical record & EMR abstractions, member outreach for quality programs. Other duties assigned to meet the department needs including collaboration with other quality departments in the organization.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Quality Data Coordinator will be responsible for supporting quality initiatives using various databases and information resources.
- Works with quality team in collecting and reporting of data on Quality programs.
- Extracts data for Health Plan score reports for Quality Incentive Programs.
- Assists in obtaining medical records from Providers to support Public Reporting Quality Scores. Maintains integrity of records with PHI.
- Ability to engage in member quality outreach calls.
- Ability to perform the following: Faxing, Scanning, Record Storage, tracking and reporting progress on Quality programs.
- Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and support decision-making processes
- Manage big data sets efficiently
- Oversee data collection processes and ensure data integrity
- Coordinate data-related projects from inception to completion
- Implement data management best practices
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree required. Masters preferred.
- Expert level of proficiency with
Microsoft Office:
Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point. Advanced MS Word, Access and Excel skills including data consolidation, macros, matching, merging and pivot tables- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- 3 years of experience in healthcare setting
- Experience with navigating
