Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Data Architect who will support our NYS client. This role will define the program's data architecture roadmap, establish a data lake and analytics reference architecture, and manage data implementation planning across the three main IES workstreams. The Senior Data Architect will also develop reporting and analytics capabilities for OTDA and OCFS and create a reusable implementation framework that enables the workstreams to utilize program data products.

Duties:

Elicit data-related business goals and objectives from OTDA and OCFS. Establish and maintain a data architecture roadmap for the program. Establish and implement data lake and analytics reference architecture for the program. Manage the data implementation plan across the three main IES workstreams. Develop a reporting and analytics product for OTDA and OCFS. Create an implementation framework that enables the three workstreams to utilize the program data products.

Mandatory Qualifications:

10+ years of experience with Data Lake, Data Analytics, and Data Strategy; years may be negotiable depending on overall experience. Experience developing data solutions from requirements gathering through post-production operations. Experience developing technology roadmaps and project plans. Experience developing detailed architecture documentation, including architecture models and specifications. Experience implementing mission-critical data systems on Databricks and/or AWS. Excellent communication and writing skills. Ready to make a difference?
