Summary Our client is looking for a Senior Manager Data Scientist for a 3-month contract and will be working remotely. Contract Duration:
3 Months Required Skills & Experience Strong experience with TURKS. Extensive knowledge and experience in architecture, interoperability, operations, growth, maintenance, and life cycle of Transport network services and systems High-level analysis and identification of unique, complex, or chronic issues in the Transport network Ability to design and write technical bulletins, including the production and delivery of job aids, operational processes and procedures, and technical management methodologies In-depth knowledge and expertise in hardware/software/database operations to include fault troubleshooting for multiple Transport platforms including Synchronous Optical Network (SONET), and ALL Digital Access Cross-Connect (DAC), such as Titan 5500 and 532L. In-depth knowledge and understanding of how to interpret Circuit Layout Records (CLR) and schematics. High-level understanding of electrical transport, including T3, T1, and DS0 Knowledge of Element Management Systems (EMS), Operational Support Systems (OSS), network inventory, provisioning, and other support systems Ability to read Circuit Layer Records and Complex Schematics/designs Able to facilitate, understand, and lead field ops, tech, voice, and NOC. Proficiency in interpersonal communications, particularly with up and downstream personnel at all company levels Effective leadership skills, including demonstration of training and/or mentoring activities and subsequent positive impacts. Excellent communication skills Microsoft Office and Teams experience Able to manage and interact with people, keeping calls on track Project Management Certification preferred What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities Facilitate multiple migration calls, schedule sessions, produce minutes, and circulate call summaries. Escalations should be processed promptly Subject matter expert in SONET and Digital Access Cross-Connect (DACS), including lower-level applications and associated technologies and configurations Proactive technical leadership regarding issues related to service assurance and delivery, network reliability, and customer satisfaction Technical direction of personnel and contractors in Field Operations and Core and Customer Installation, Repair, and Maintenance Centers Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
