 26-27 JOB SUMMARY Supports district CTE leadership by coordinating data systems, validating program metrics, and monitoring key indicators related to student enrollment, pathway completion, industry-based certifications, CCMR outcomes, and postsecondary readiness. Assists with reporting, compliance submissions, continuous improvement planning, and operational decision-making for Career and Technical Education programs.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
List most important duties first 1. Maintain and monitor districtwide GTE data systems, dashboards, and recurring reports for enrollment, pathways, concentrators, completers, certifications, and student outcomes 2. Analyze GTE participation, performance, staffing, and accountability indicators to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for program improvement 3. Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for district leadership, campuses, and stakeholders to support strategic planning and resource allocation
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED 4.
Coordinate data validation, PEIMS alignment, grant reporting, audit requests, and compliance submissions related to GTE programs 5. Support forecasting, course demand planning, and campus decision-making through data modeling and performance monitoring 6. Other duties as assigned. (

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree
WORK EXPERIENCE 5-7
years. Experience in educational data analysis, accountability systems, student information systems, program evaluation, finance reporting, or GTE operations.
SKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION
Software Microsoft Office Certifications/Licensure N/A Equipment Office equipment (e.g., computer, copier)
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Work Leadership. Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees but does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Leading and directing is restricted to monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues. Most of work time is spent performing many of the same duties they are leading.
WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT
Work involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied. Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources. Ongoing supervision is provided on an "as needed" basis.

  • Takes routine or required customer actions to meet customer needs. Responds promptly and accurately to customer complaints, inquiries and requests for information and coordinates appropriate follow-up. May handle escalated issues passed on from coworkers or subordinates.
  • Regularly assesses and diffuses complex, and escalated customer issues.
Takes personal responsibility and accountability for solving systemic customer service problems. Regularly explores alternative and creative solutions to meeting the needs of the customer within HISD's policies and guidelines.
WORKING/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
