Primary Purpose:
The State Reporting Coordinator is responsible for coordinating student data related to Waco ISD and Texas Connections Academy Waco. This position is also responsible for coordinating data related to additional 1882 Partnerships. They will further support instructional initiatives overseen by the Deputy Superintendent, including, but not limited to, assisting in the development of data collection cycles and coordinating and preparing associated data within state and district timelines.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited
University or College Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of Texas Education Agency (TEA) reporting requirements, including PEIMS, TSDS, accountability and state data governance. Knowledge of student information systems, including PowerSchool (preferred), and related data management systems and reporting processes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and communicate findings to diverse audiences. Ability to develop, monitor, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting critical deadlines. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments while also demonstrating initiative and independent decision-making. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Maintain a high level of confidentiality Experience Experience in student information systems, PEIMS/State reporting, or educational data management. Previous experience as a PowerSchool or Frontline Coordinator, preferred Experience with PowerSchool or Frontline data mining, reporting, and system administration, preferred Experience supporting executive leadership through project coordination, strategic initiative management, or executive-level reporting. (Preferred)
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop and coordinate student information management systems to provide efficient and effective collection, storage, and communication of student and staff data. Serve as a district liaison with the Texas Education Agency regarding requirements/procedure of school and student reporting for specialty partnerships. Serve as a liaison with Waco ISD and Texas Connections Academy personnel. Communicate student and school reporting requirements/procedures to district administrators and other personnel responsible for collecting data. Oversee the timely submission of reports, records, and inventories. Maintain district records for the maximum period mandated by law. Interpret data and other statistical information. Coordinate data collection, verification, and entry processes. Maintain all required records (e.g., student demographics, academic courses, testing data, attendance, discipline, etc.) Work with the Authorizer to complete timely and accurate reporting of PowerSchool/Frontline Data. Attends all required state and authorizer training to ensure accuracy and efficient handling of PowerSchool/Frontline data harvesting. Serve as a project management liaison for the Deputy Superintendent by tracking timelines, milestones, and deliverables for key district-wide instructional initiatives, including but not limited to 1882 Partnerships. Facilitate cross-departmental coordination to support the Deputy Superintendent in executing strategic projects and instructional initiatives, ensuring alignment with the district's instructional pillars and vision. Compile and synthesize project status reports, identifying potential bottlenecks or resource needs for the Deputy Superintendent's review. Support the planning and management of high-level meetings and professional development sessions by establishing clear agendas and tracking action items to completion. Performs all other duties as assigned by the Deputy Superintendent.

Maintain emotional control under stress. Daily attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of the job. Frequent district-wide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours; work indoors and outdoors to conduct on-site inspections of all facilities and construction projects.
