The Coordinator of Assessment and Data is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the development and implementation of effective testing strategies for the ACPS school division. This role involves close collaboration with the instructional team, school administrators, and Site Testing Coordinators (STCs) to support academic assessments and data-driven instructional improvement. Additionally, the Coordinator will provide support to school based staff with data analysis and instructional systems implementation, ensuring that the division's assessment programs align with state and federal requirements. Direct support for instructional planning and delivery is also provided, as needed and assigned.

Essential Functions:

Acts within the guidelines of ACPS school division's policies and programs, as well as Virginia Department of Education Regulations To perform such duties as are necessary for the efficient successful operation of the ACPS school division assessment program.

ACPS DDOT

#1 - Serve as the Division Director of Testing for ACPS Attend Regional DDOT (Division Director of Testing) meetings and filter this information to appropriate personnel for its intended use To participate in the decision-making process related to all assessment programs and guide the assessment program required of each student and to provide learning situations suitable for each student. Coordinate professional development for division level assessment platforms. To become informed about and to comply with the policies and regulations of the school division and of the local school board, and the state/federal requirements. To work collaboratively with division personnel to set the testing schedule and implement testing at each of the schools in the division, including the following assessments: Growth Assessments SOL Tests IRW Tests WIDA Testing CogAT VAAP Test Collaborate with instructional supervisors to support all data synthesis for the ACPS Academic Data Binder each accreditation year Division Data Subgroup Data Regional Comparison Data CTE data AP Data Graduation Rate Data Chronic Absenteeism data Division Watchlist Data School Specific Data Co-facilitate assessment and analysis in the related content areas (SOL, benchmark development and data analysis) with the instructional supervisors. Collaborate with the instructional team to create the academic data presentation that is shared with the board for the Fall, Winter, and Spring data. To create a Balanced Assessment Plan and disseminate this information on the ACPS Webpage Create Testing Calendars and disseminate this information to the admin. as well as on the ACPS Webpage To keep abreast of recent developments in accreditation requirements. Send testing information found in the Superintendent's Newsletter Updates to admin., supervisors, directors, coordinators, and staff Facilitate a partnership with the Quad 8 (Outplaced Facilities that some of our students attend) schools. Responsible for maintaining VDOE Test Security for all ACPS SOL and Growth Assessments. Maintaining

documentation of all secure test materials for all 10 ACPS schools and Quad 8 facilities Opt out forms Medical device forms Personnel test security agreements School transmittal forms School affidavit Samples of Local Alternative assessments and scores VAAP Testing Plans Responsible for training STCs, ordering placement of testing materials, collection and shipping of completed testing materials for return, interpreting and disseminating testing information and reports for all ACPS testing that takes place within the division. VDOE Growth Assessments (Fall & Winter) VDOE Spring SOL Tests Grades 3-EOC Submitting Test Irregularities on SSWS to VDOE Setting up alternate test sessions for VDOE submitted irregularities. IRW (Integrated Reading & Writing) Test for grades 5 and 8 VAAP Testing Grades 3-EOC Quad 8 (Outplaced Facility) testing of students CogAT Testing for Grades 2 and 6 WIDA Testing for ELL Students Documentation of VDOE Local Alternative Assessments for Grade 3 (Science & History), 5 (US HIstory I), and 6 (US HIstory II) Work Collaboratively with the instructional team to oversee the creation of ACPS Student Growth Assessment (Fall & Winter) for Alg. I, Geometry, Algebra II, EOC English 11, VA Studies, Civics, World Geography, US VA History, Grade 5 Science, and Biology. Provide opportunities for continuing professional growth. Support the creation and implementation of the Division Support Plan. Collaborate with the Supervisor of Math and Science in planning and implementation of Math and Science Lead meetings to support staff in these areas and meet teacher needs based on survey data. Support both Federal & Non Federal schools with EBI strategies to meet the needs of the students. To maintain a cooperative attitude toward all school personnel Support math & science programs (pacing, curriculum, textbooks, resources/materials, instructional strategies, etc.) Observe teaching and learning in the classroom, and provide instructional support to teachers through instructional rounds (3-4 times per year per school) Collaboratively plan and organize the ACPS Math 24 competition for both Middle schools and 6 elementary schools Serve as a Liaison for an assigned school Attend PLCs to provide support Attend Domain Support Team Meetings Provide administrative support for school support plans and teams. Provide administrative support for principal quarterly reviews ? Participate on the DLST team and Core Instructional team To perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Math and Science, Chief Academic Officer, and the school division

Superintendent Education and Job Experience:

Experience with school assessment programs preferred Master's degree in Administration and Supervision preferred
