12-month contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent Responsibilities Collects samples and prepares hair swatches to perform methods adhering to a set procedure. Performs technical procedures to measure product performance on hair with variety of lab equipment. Analyzes data, performs statistical calculations, and draws conclusions to substantiate claims. Documents work and writes reports on product evaluation in conformance with company policies and standards. Keeps laboratory consumables organized and stocked, assembling and dismantling instruments where necessary. Aids in the research and development of new methods and exploratory claims substantiation. Analyzes consumer insights and survey data to draw conclusions on new claims language and trends. Maintains and stores internal documentation to company database. Requirements College degree in science related field or equivalent laboratory experience. Proficient MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and File Explorer. Ability to learn and develop comfort with various instrumentation software. Careful adherence to established procedures and proposed experimental design. Detail oriented and manual dexterity when working with instruments and samples. Demonstrating integrity in performing tasks to produce repeatable data. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
