Job Description

This position will be working from the Stuart office. Our corporate headquarters is located in Deerfield Beach, FL with satellite offices in Stuart, FL and Miami, FL.
Description:
The CAD/GIS Technician is responsible for assisting the CAD/Drafting group in day-to-day office tasks. This position plays a critical role in the pre-construction, construction and final phases of our projects. You will work closely with The Senior CAD Lead, Survey Crews, Engineers, and other CAD Technicians to ensure that all work is accurate and aligned with project goals.
The position also requires:
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
Develop drawings to support survey and construction activities. Assist in managing computer systems and software to support survey operations. Interpret drawings based on project and pull information as required. Assist in training survey crews on CAD/GIS technologies and data transfer/post processing.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or technical certificate in CAD/GIS. Bachelor's degree is preferred, with specialized in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Experience with various software including Trimble Business Center, MicroStation (Bentley) and/or ArcGIS Pro a plus.
Schedule :
This is an hourly position, typically with Monday-Friday schedule.
