Onsite Job Description
•Full time, hybrid 3 days/week in office. CW can sit out of Dana Ops in Cincinnati or Plainfield, IN.
Responsibilities
With close supervision:
Maintain and support the company's GIS system by posting, updating, and maintaining utility asset data for electric distribution.
Review design drawings, maps, plats, redlines, and related documentation and accurately model those assets in GIS.
Gather, analyze, and maintain geospatial data used as the utility system's system of record.
Identify, analyze, and resolve GIS data issues and discrepancies.
Perform QA/QC activities to ensure GIS data accuracy and completeness.
Correct data quality errors and verify compliance with GIS business rules and standards.
Communicate with Work Order Owners, Designers, Engineers, and Field personnel to obtain missing information.
Minimum 2 years GIS experience required. Strong background and demonstrated experience in ESRI products preferred. Experience in Smallworld preferred. Utility experience preferred. GIS or related technical degree preferred.
