Data Truther - Part-time Applied Research Solutions - 4.2 Dayton, OH Job Details Part-time 5 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Customer communication AI tools proficiency High school diploma or GED Machine intelligence Computer skills Full Job Description Applied Research Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Data Truther to support the development, characterization, and quality assurance of ground-truthed datasets used to train, test, and evaluate machine learning and automated target recognition (ATR) systems. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, organizing, annotating, and validating multi-modal sensor data—including Wide-Area Motion Imagery (WAMI), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR), and Full-Motion Video (FMV)—to produce high-fidelity, well-documented "truth" data. You will also help establish repeatable truthing processes, mentor new team members, and source imagery and other data to meet evolving research requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong attention to detail, an understanding of imagery and sensor phenomenology, and a methodical approach to data labeling and documentation. Why Work with us? Responsibilities include:

Document and characterize existing truthed datasets; Review, organize, document, characterize (operating condition difficulty), and truth (label, annotate) WAMI, SAR, EO/IR, and FMV data (or possibly data from other sensor modalities); Help review, validate, and/or correct data truth; Help design and set up data characterization and truthing processes for

WAMI, SAR, EO/IR, FMV

data (and possibly other modalities); Help demonstrate the characterization and truthing processes and tools to others; Help train new truthers; Identify and download commercial and other imagery (or other data) to meet data requirements; and Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:

US Citizenship required. Must hold an active Security Clearance HS Diploma; some college preferred; Minimum 2 years' basic computer skills/experience; Detail oriented; ability to remain focused and follow instructions; Ability to use AI Toolkits Strong interpersonal and customer interaction skills; Clear and concise oral and written communication skills; and Ability to integrate with a team.
