Position Overview The Remote Measure Technician is an office-based role responsible for performing remote and virtual measures, supporting field teams, and completing back-office work that keeps projects moving accurately and on schedule. Using Medida and traditional remote-measure methods, this position captures and verifies measurements for windows, doors, and specialty units without traveling to the jobsite under normal circumstances. This is an entry point into the measurement track and a proving ground for advancement into the Installation Project Manager (IPM) role. Strong performers are developed toward full project-management responsibility over time. Core Responsibilities Remote & Virtual Measurement Perform remote measures using Medida and traditional remote-measure workflows. Capture and verify accurate measurements for windows, doors, and specialty units. Enter measurements and project details into RSuite. Review project files and Field Service logs to confirm scope and specifications. Field Support & Back Office Support field measure technicians and installation teams with remote guidance and documentation. Create and manage addendums, modifications, and project documentation per Standard Operating Procedures. Prepare Installation Packets and material needs for assigned projects. Documentation & Uploads Complete and upload to rForce as required: Measure Sheets and supporting measurements. Job photos and reference documentation. Any other relevant project documentation. Technology Proficiently operate company-provided technology, including Medida, RSuite, rForce, FSL, TechSee, and iPads. Additional Duties Provide updates to the Operations Manager and senior IPMs as needed. Participate in training and in-person check-ins. Perform other related tasks as assigned. Skills, Tools & Platforms Medida and traditional remote-measure methods. RSuite and rForce (project management / CRM tools). Field Service and the FSL calendar (Salesforce-based). Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Construction or home-renovation knowledge, especially with windows and doors, is needed. Requirements & Qualifications This role is office-based with no regular travel. Physical requirements below reflect the field readiness expected for advancement into the IPM track. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Comfortable working at heights using ladders and/or lifts with proper safety equipment (for field readiness and IPM advancement).
