Job Description
GIS Analyst II Performs routine complex GIS data analyses, database, and mapping related assignments for several city departments. The employee will have the responsibility of: Having a working knowledge of GIS principles, ESRI software, topology rules, subtype and domain implementation, utility networks and cadastral principles Assisting in the evaluation of city-wide projects for GIS databases Producing inter-departmental mapping products, including general mapping, GIS web applications, modeling, or specialized analytical reporting Having a working knowledge of a GPS data collector to collect City assets and process GPS information Overseeing the assignment of addresses for all properties platted or developed within the City limits and acts as a regional 911 addressing coordinator Acting as the City Works Asset Management System Administrator and possesses a working knowledge of City Works Designer including the ability to modify XML code Appling a working knowledge of spatial data workflows and procedures, robust spatial analysis, and advanced use of Esri software products such as ArcMap\Catalogue, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS for Portal, ArcGIS Online and other ESRI partner applications As an employee with the city of Killeen some benefits are: Health insurance from Blue Cross Blue Shield of TX Dental and Vision insurance Life insurance Retirement through TMRS (Optional 4579(b) Accounts) Paid Vacation and Sick Leave 13 paid holidays
