Job Description

The City of Odessa is seeking a Utilities GIS Intern to support mapping, data management, and infrastructure projects within Utilities Administration.
What You'll Do:
Create and update GIS maps and line features Assist with integrating as-built construction data into the GIS system Support data entry, mapping updates, and project documentation
What We're Looking For:
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Basic knowledge of GIS or mapping tools preferred Interest in utilities, mapping, or public service
Minimum Qualifications:
College student or recent coursework in GIS, Geography, Engineering, or a related field Valid Texas Driver's License Ability to work up to 40 hours per week Why Join Us? Gain hands-on experience working with GIS data that supports real infrastructure and City operations.
