Description:
Vantor seeks a GIS Systems Engineer to design, implement, and optimize geospatial solutions powering modern web and cloud applications. You will architect GIS services, integrate spatial data into APIs and front end apps, and build automated pipelines for ingesting and transforming location data. Working in agile teams, you'll collaborate with engineers and product partners to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable geospatial platforms. This role offers opportunities to deepen skills in cloud, automation, and data engineering while contributing to impactful, client facing digital transformation projects. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain GIS systems and services for client solutions Integrate geospatial data sources with web applications, APIs, and cloud platforms Optimize spatial databases, data pipelines, and map services for performance and scalability Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to define GIS architectures and standards Implement automation for data ingestion, transformation, and deployment of GIS components Ensure data quality, security, and reliability across geospatial datasets and services Troubleshoot and resolve GIS-related application, data, and infrastructure issues Contribute to agile ceremonies, technical documentation, and code reviews Required Skills GIS systems design Esri Arc GIS or QGISSpatial databases (Post
