Job Description

As a GIS Analyst, you will support many aspects of GIS technologies for federal, municipal, and commercial clients. Top level analytical and problem-solving skills are essential and must be able to make recommendations and provide guidance in a fluid environment while maintaining positive working relationships with the team. Required Technical Skills Minimum 4-year degree in GIS or related field from an accredited college and at least 6 years of professional experience Significant experience with ESRI products; ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap, ArcCatalog) Experience in data management, editing, and aggregation, varying from tabular data, CAD, vector, geodatabases, raster, lidar, and other spatial and nonspatial source types Experience in ArcGIS Online and/or ArcGIS Enterprise Experience with cartography, including map book development Experience with Microsoft Office products Excellent verbal / written communication skills Interpersonal skills to interact with team members Ability to work independently as well as in a team-based environment. Desired Technical Skills DoW SDSFIE experience is a plus, including experience working in IGI&S data standards, as well as knowledge of real property and asset management concepts in relation to DoD systems. Experience with ArcSDE Experience with ArcGIS Data Reviewer Experience with Model Builder, Arcade Expressions, Python, SQL, HTML, JavaScript Familiarity with mobile GIS platforms and GPS technologies Responsibilities Clear, dynamic creation and support of cartographic representations Data management, editing, and analysis of GIS data Track project metrics and provide status to clients and management, including written professional-looking reports on project situational awareness and GIS data. Conducts QC/QA for cartographic production. Customer Service and technical support to a diverse set of backgrounds.
