An IT Director manages and directs information technology at a senior executive level for a company or organization. Manages the flow of information within the organization; identifies and manages technology needed to support access to information and integration of systems within the organization.
Information Technology & Systems Market Director Duties:
Provides strategic leadership and oversight for Information Technology & Services (IT&S) across the assigned market. Aligns market IT operations with enterprise strategies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Ensures reliable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that support clinical, operational, and business objectives across multiple facilities. Partners with system IT leadership, market/facility executives, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation, performance improvement, and data-informed decision-making.
Experience:
5+ years of progressive IT management experience, with at least 3 years in healthcare and multi-site or enterprise environments. Demonstrated experience with hospital IT operations, EHR systems, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and project management. Experience with multi-site hospital IT operations preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills; ability to collaborate across clinical, operational, and enterprise teams.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required, or 7+ years of direct experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree required.
Schedule:
8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. However, schedules may vary by business necessity. Remote workers are expected to be available during normal business hours, unless otherwise approved by the department leader(s).
Compensation:
$48.00-$65.00/
