Berkeley's design-build community thrives on craftsmanship, strong technical execution, and seamless collaboration from concept through construction—this is your chance to lead that work with a close-knit studio. In this Studio Director opportunity in Berkeley, CA, you'll guide a small team of design associates while staying hands-on across the full project lifecycle. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Studio Director position include: Strong technical architecture experience across schematic design, construction documents, permitting/pre-construction, and project delivery. Experience with both residential and commercial projects, with strong code knowledge including ADA. Background or interest in a design-build environment where architecture and construction are closely integrated. Proficiency in Revit. Ability to work primarily onsite in Berkeley while leading multiple concurrent projects. Serve as a studio leader for a small, balancing leadership and hands-on design/technical work.
Salary:
$60-$70/hour
