Job Description
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy to increase the presence of Matissoft solutions across the Canadian market; Manage the entire sales process for technology solutions (ERP, MES/SCADA, IT, Instrumentation and Control), including: Preparing, coordinating, and delivering sales presentations to stakeholders at various organizational levels; Participating in contract negotiations; Preparing and writing sales proposals; Closing sales; Identify new business opportunities among existing and prospective clients; Recommend technology solutions tailored to the operational challenges of Canadian feed mills; Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients; Work closely with technical teams (engineering, software development and integration) to ensure the relevance and feasibility of proposed solutions; Maintain rigorous follow-up on opportunities and manage the sales pipeline in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system; Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote the company.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Automation (College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree) or a related technical field and 10 years of relevant experience OR 10 years of technical experience in the agricultural industry; Fluency in English, both spoken and written; English proficiency is required for this position in order to communicate with English-speaking clients. Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Canada (from Ontario to British Columbia) as well as throughout the U.S. Midwest; Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills; Ability to understand business needs and recommend appropriate technology solutions; Entrepreneurial mindset, autonomy, and results-oriented approach; Familiarity with feed mill operations and livestock production (an asset); Hands-on experience with MES/SCADA, ERP or industrial software solutions (an asset).
