Full Time Reports to: President We are looking for an energetic, customer facing Vice President of Strategic Services with a technical background. The VPSS will provide strategic IT planning, budgeting, and direction to our key managed services clients. This role focuses primarily on the business relationship with the client and leveraging technical resources to improve their operational efficiencies. Client satisfaction, contract renewals, and uncovering additional sales opportunities are the responsibility of the VPSS. The VPSS will participate in pre-sales meetings, providing technical insight alongside the Revenue team. The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of experience with IT Management, focused on driving strategic initiatives and client success by understanding their client's business and aligning technology to meet requirements. This position is external customer facing, so communication and customer service skills are extremely important. A successful VPSS will become a valuable and contributing part of the Kelser culture.   • Promote Kelser products and services
  • Support Kelser and external customers in the following ways:
  • Conduct regular status and business review meetings for each client to understand short and long term business goals
  • Create, present, and implement annual technology roadmaps, budgets, and reports for each client
  • Serve as a technical resource in pre-sales activities
  • Communicate potential risks related to cybersecurity, network security and industry specific compliance
  • Identify new opportunities to use technology to streamline business processes
  • Oversee internal support and engineering resources to ensure successful delivery of services to clients
  • Educate clients on current technology trends relevant to their specific industry
  • Actively participate in the sales process to bring on new logos both for managed services and project work
  • Be available for client and prospect meetings both on video and in person
  • Mentor key members of the customer facing tech team including vCIO and TAMs
  • Be the "face of Kelser" in participating in partner, prospect and community events to include trade fairs, industry-specific expos and others Skills/Qualifications
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible IT Management. Prior client management or MSP experience a plus
  • Proven ability to manage communication and relationships with senior executive business stakeholders
  • Technical background preferred
  • Experience in the IT budgeting process
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
