Job Description
Miami, FL Part time R021134 Production Operations at TelevisaUnivision is looking for an Assistant Director to join our team! Responsibilities include supporting Director and Line Producer in every aspect of the production. The Assistant Director will provide a key link between Director, Producers, Technical Director, production.
YOUR DAY-DAY
(aka Responsibilities)
+ Oversee and facilitate production elements, including graphics, music, and all other related show elements at the Director's request.
+ Assist Director and Technical Director with pre and postproduction of the show.
+ Back time show and time video clips and packages.
+ Knowledge of iNews and basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office and Outlook)
+ QC videos & GFX's with TRT for all respective shows.
+ Distribute rundowns to technical staff.
+ Ensure break formats and logs are cross checked with show.
+ Call cues for GFX and server playbacks.
+ Communicate with

(aka Qualifications)
+ Associate's degree in television production or equivalent work experience.
+ Knowledge of equipment utilized in production, TV studio, and control room.
+ Ability to multitask and prioritize.
+ Perform well under pressure and live event situations.
+ Ability to train new employees and co-workers.
+ Work effectively with others in a team environment.
+ Ability to communicate effectively.
+ Excellent organizational and planning skills.
+ Ability to comply with a variable work schedule.
+ Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
+ Employees will be expected to commit to a specific schedule in the time period indicated.
+ As this position supports 24x7 operation, candidate must, in addition to being able to work regular hours, have on-call availability and flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, weekends and holidays as needed and without advance notice. Additionally, candidate may be required to work on site for extended periods of time to provide coverage in special circumstances, such as during tropical storms/hurricanes
