Job Description

IT Infrastructure Coordinator Multi-Site Diagnostic Imaging Centers Company:
A growing multi-location diagnostic imaging group
Location:
Miami, FL / South Florida area (on-site, travel required across multiple locations)
Employment Type:
Full-time Compensation:
$40,000-$60,000 base salary + variable performance-based compensation tied to KPIs (uptime, ticket resolution time, project delivery) About Us We are a multi-location diagnostic imaging group serving the South Florida market, offering Specialized (PET-based oncology/cardiology), High Imaging (CT, MRI, Mammogram, NCS, Sleep Study, Nuclear Medicine), and Low Imaging (Ultrasound, X-ray, Bone Density, EEG, EKG) services. We are actively growing through acquisition and expanding our footprint across the region, and we're looking for someone to own the technology backbone that keeps every center running. About the Role We're hiring an IT Infrastructure Coordinator to be the single point of ownership for the day-to-day technology operations across our diagnostic centers. You will be the person who understands how each clinic's systems connect — from the network and phone lines, to how imaging orders move between our Radiology Information System (RIS), imaging modalities, and PACS, to how radiology reports make it back to referring physicians. This is a hands-on, full-time, on-site role covering multiple centers, with additional sites being integrated as we complete planned acquisitions. You will be the first line of response when something breaks, and the person who plans and executes new technology rollouts as we grow. You won't be expected to single-handedly re-architect vendor integrations — we work with established RIS, PACS, and imaging platform vendors who own their respective platforms. Your job is to keep the day-to-day infrastructure running, know exactly how each piece connects to the others, troubleshoot first-line issues, and escalate to the right vendor with clear, well-documented information when something is beyond daily operations. Key Responsibilities Network & Telephony Maintain and troubleshoot internal networks, internet connectivity, and phone/extension systems across all centers Manage call routing so incoming lines reach the call center and are correctly transferred to the right department extensions based on call type Keep fax systems (used for reports, referrals, and authorizations) working reliably Serve as the point of contact for ISP and telecom vendor issues Systems & Imaging Workflow Maintain working knowledge of how each imaging modality (CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, X-ray, PET, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Density, EEG, EKG, NCS, Sleep Study) connects to the RIS and how the modality worklist delivers patient/order information to each machine Monitor and troubleshoot first-line issues in the flow of images from modality to PACS, and reports from the reading platform back into the RIS Track and document known interdependencies between systems at each site so issues can be diagnosed quickly Escalate integration-level issues (e.g., RIS-to-PACS report delivery failures) to the appropriate vendor with clear documentation (timestamps, affected records, reproduction steps) Projects & New Implementations Lead the technical rollout of new equipment, modalities, or systems at existing or newly acquired centers Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders during onboarding of new locations Document infrastructure setup at each site as it's built out, so institutional knowledge doesn't live only in one person's head Monitoring & Reporting Build and maintain KPI dashboards and monitoring tools to track system uptime, network health, call routing performance, and ticket resolution across all sites Provide regular status reporting to management on infrastructure health and open issues Flag recurring or high-impact problems proactively, before they affect patient care or operations What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, or systems support (healthcare environment strongly preferred but not required) Solid working knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls) and VoIP/phone systems administration Exposure to healthcare imaging systems (RIS, PACS, EMR) is a strong plus — willingness and ability to learn DICOM/HL7-level concepts on the job is required if not already familiar Comfortable being the primary technical contact across multiple physical locations, including travel between sites Strong documentation habits — you write things down so problems can be diagnosed and handed off, not just fixed and forgotten Experience building or maintaining dashboards/reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Google Sheets, or similar) Vendor management experience: comfortable opening tickets, pushing for logs/evidence, and following up until issues are resolved Project coordination experience for technology rollouts Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, given our team and vendor base What We Offer Full-time position with base salary of $40,000-$60,000, commensurate with experience Additional variable compensation tied to measurable KPIs (system uptime, resolution times, project delivery) Opportunity to grow with a company actively expanding through acquisition Direct exposure to healthcare imaging technology and multi-site operations leadership
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Work Location:
In person
