Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a Technical Service Manager to oversee our power transformer service projects from inception to completion while leading a team of field service technicians and equipment to support the installation, maintenance, and testing of new power transformers. This person will serve as the primary technical liaison between the production facility and the customer. The Technical Service Manager must be a highly motivated, ambitious individual with the ability to handle multiple priorities to keep up with service demands. This person should have deep understanding of high-voltage (HV) equipment, transformer assembly, and diagnostic testing standards. The individual should have a demonstrated track record of success and possess a strong desire to learn and grow. Must have the ability to work independently and as a team to effectively support the Service & After-Sales process. Duties Adhere to plant safety requirements and plant policies. Promote a positive safety culture, leading by example. Oversee and lead a team of field service technicians. Develop detailed project plans and communication strategies to align customers and TMC Transformers stakeholders. Cultivate and maintain customer relationships. Conduct communication in a highly customer service-oriented manner. Provide and lead the coordination of technical assistance and troubleshooting for field service issues. Oversee the coordination and scheduling of services with customers, resources, and internal teams to meet project timelines and quality standards and ensure efficient resource use. Monitor labor, material costs, and productivity to maintain control and produce accurate forecasts of revenue and profit. All other job duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical discipline is preferred. Associate degree in related field and a minimum of 5-years of related experience. Minimum 5-years in transformer manufacturing, testing, or field service experience. Must be local to the greater Augusta, GA area and able to commute to the Waynesboro location. A track record of timely execution of duties while ensuring accuracy and consistency. Strong technical knowledge of power transformers.
Pay:
From $63,500.00 per year
