Position Intel:
This is a backfill for their previous SOC Engineer who is moving into another opportunity. The team current team would be one SOC Analyst- level 1, technical security ops- Level 1 &2, this person being the 3rd who is the escalation point for the SOC all reporting to the Sr. Director of Technology. This person will serve as the escalation point to the rest of the team, ensure info sec program is running and operating, security tooling is implemented and operational, while serving as a mentor to the team. As the program grows this person will have the ability to be involved in decisions, make recommendations, and move up. The ideal candidate will be customer facing as the role will be dealing with executives and involve business cases. There is plenty of vendor and 3rd party support in off hours. This person should be well rounded in SIEM Solutions, SOAR, Endpoint Detection, DLP Solutions, along with M365 and Azure.
Top Requirements:
Experience as the senior or escalation point in a SOC. SIEM, SOAR, DLP, Strong communication skills
