Immediate Position Overview Foxconn Technology USA Corporation (FTC USA) is building a next-generation Smart Manufacturing Center in Louisville, Kentucky. We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer / IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the planning, implementation, security, and ongoing operation of IT infrastructure for our U.S. manufacturing facility. This position is critical to establishing and maintaining a stable, secure, and scalable IT environment that supports manufacturing operations, data center infrastructure, enterprise systems, and smart manufacturing initiatives. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical experience in both IT infrastructure and cybersecurity. This position will be responsible for protecting the company's U.S. operations against internal and external cybersecurity threats while ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of critical IT systems. This role will also serve as a key liaison between the U.S. facility, corporate headquarters, and global IT teams. Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required. Key Responsibilities 1. IT Infrastructure and Data Center Planning Lead the planning, construction, implementation, and management of the U.S. facility's IT server rooms, network infrastructure, and data center environment. Design, deploy, configure, and maintain network architecture, including LAN/WAN, Cisco systems, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and secure connectivity. Ensure the high availability, reliability, scalability, and security of infrastructure systems. Support infrastructure requirements for manufacturing operations, automation systems, MES integration, and other critical business functions. 2. Network and Cybersecurity Management Develop and execute cybersecurity strategies to protect the company's infrastructure, systems, data, and manufacturing operations from internal and external threats. Plan, implement, and manage firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS), endpoint security, access controls, and network monitoring tools. Monitor the IT environment for suspicious activities, vulnerabilities, unauthorized access, malware, and emerging cybersecurity threats. Lead cybersecurity incident response activities, including investigation, containment, recovery, documentation, and post-incident corrective actions. Conduct vulnerability assessments, security reviews, patch management, risk assessments, and remediation activities. Oversee network configuration, crisis management, system security compliance, and secure remote access. Establish and maintain data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures. 3. Systems and Enterprise Application Support Support the deployment and maintenance of enterprise OA systems, corporate applications, and other business platforms. Provide system guidance, user training, and technical support to local employees. Manage Windows Server 2019, UNIX systems, Oracle databases, and other critical enterprise systems. Ensure appropriate system access controls, account management, data protection, and security configurations. 4. IT Operations and Governance Establish and manage IT operation and maintenance procedures for the U.S. facility. Develop and maintain IT policies, cybersecurity standards, technical documentation, and standard operating procedures. Plan and manage IT hardware, software, cybersecurity, and infrastructure budgets and procurement. Supervise and develop a local IT support team of up to four employees. Ensure timely troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and resolution of infrastructure and security issues. Communicate critical IT issues, cybersecurity risks, and project updates to local management and corporate headquarters. 5. Cross-Border Coordination Collaborate closely with corporate headquarters and global IT teams to align infrastructure and cybersecurity standards. Coordinate cross-border IT projects and communicate technical and business matters in both English and Mandarin Chinese. Support factory expansion, smart manufacturing, automation, and digital integration initiatives. Assist with the implementation of global IT policies and security requirements at the U.S. facility. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, data center management, cybersecurity, or a related area. Demonstrated technical experience in both enterprise IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations.

Cisco networking equipment LAN/WAN architecture Firewall configuration and management VPNs and secure remote connectivity Load balancing Windows Server 2019 UNIX systems Oracle databases Experience in: Server and system administration Network planning and configuration Data backup and recovery Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS) Endpoint security and access controls Cybersecurity monitoring and incident response Vulnerability assessment, patch management, and risk remediation Network security system installation and maintenance IT equipment budgeting and procurement CCNA certification required. Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Ability to communicate technical issues and cybersecurity risks effectively with U.S.-based employees, corporate headquarters, and global IT teams. Strong troubleshooting, leadership, project management, and cross-functional communication skills. Ability to manage IT operations in a manufacturing or similarly complex operational environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a multinational manufacturing environment, particularly in factory setup, greenfield development, or facility expansion projects. Previous professional experience in the United States. Experience supporting smart factories, automation systems, MES, ERP, or Industry 4.0 environments. Experience building IT infrastructure and cybersecurity systems from the ground up. Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, or equivalent are preferred. Experience coordinating IT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives with international or headquarters-based teams. What We Offer Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
