The IT Business Partner serves as the primary liaison between our internal teams and our outsourced IT provider, while driving the effective use of technology across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring our systems, software, and technology solutions support the needs of our field and office teams, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through new tools, integrations, and emerging technologies, including AI. This is not a traditional helpdesk role. While the position may assist with occasional technical issues, the primary focus is on vendor management, systems optimization, and driving technology adoption across the business. Essential Job Functions 1. IT Vendor Management Serve as the primary point of contact for TMG's outsourced IT provider Manage day-to-day communication, priorities, and escalations Hold vendor accountable to service levels, response times, and quality of support Coordinate resolution of technical issues and ensure timely follow-through 2. Technology Strategy & Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms, and solutions Support the integration of emerging technologies, including AI, into business processes Partner with leadership to align technology initiatives with company goals 3. Implementation & Adoption Lead or support the rollout of new systems, tools, and software updates Coordinate with departments to ensure successful implementation Provide training, guidance, and support to drive user adoption Monitor effectiveness and recommend improvements 4. Systems Integration & Optimization Ensure key systems (project management, accounting, HR, training platforms) are aligned and functioning efficiently Identify and address gaps between systems, workflows, and data flow Work with internal teams and vendors to improve system connectivity and usability 5. Internal Technology Support (Limited Scope) Provide occasional hands-on support for technology-related issues in the office Triage issues and coordinate with the IT vendor for resolution Act as a resource for employees navigating systems and tools

Education/Experience Qualifications:
Required:
5+ years of experience in IT, systems management, business analysis, or related field Experience working with or managing third-party IT vendors Strong understanding of business systems and software platforms Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technology solutions Experience supporting or leading system implementations or process improvements
Preferred:
Experience in construction, engineering, or project-based industries Familiarity with Procore or similar systems Exposure to AI tools, automation, or digital transformation initiatives Experience working in outsourced or hybrid IT environments Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening successfully. Must possess a current and valid state driver's license and a clean driving record. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties, the employee must regularly use close vision to read reduced-size fine print, reports, schedules, spreadsheets, summaries, and other documents in either hard copy or computer monitor. Must be able to converse on the telephone and in person, use hands and fingers to write and type, prepare email messages with attached files, and use personal computers and calculators. The employee will periodically need to lift and/or carry items weighing up to twenty-five pounds.
