4284 - Manager, IT Systems - ONSITE

Traverse City, Michigan Job Description:
Manage the development and growth of our ERP system running on InterSystems IRIS. Oversee all IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity and data management. Manage relationships with key IT partners to accommodate growth and security. Key responsibilities Works with internal team to understand and implement software changes and ideas that make the company more productive and competitive. Responsible for customer onboarding process with EDI, labeling, paperwork, etc. Manages both IRIS and Linux updates. Prepares and maintains technical documentation for ERP system and other IT documents and procedures. Responsible for company's disaster recovery plan. Negotiates with vendors on behalf of the company to ensure cost effective purchasing decisions. Manages a small IT team for system admin activities and software development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Ten plus years working with the InterSystems technology stack. Specifically Cache and IRIS. Two plus years EDI experience. Five plus years manufacturing experience. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Demonstrates the ability to lead people and get results through others.
