JOB DESCRIPTION
TECHNICAL MANAGER Role:
Oversees the technical aspects of production operations, including implementing new processes, improving existing ones, and guiding the technical support team. Key responsibilities include ensuring products meet technical specifications and IATF quality standards, managing projects to improve efficiency, coordinating resources like machines and staff, and bridging the gap between technical teams and business goals. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Core responsibilities:
Production and Process Oversight:
Implement new manufacturing processes and continuously improve existing ones
Ensure all products meet technical and quality specifications
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing excellence Project Management:
Propose and conduct projects to develop and improve production methods
Manage technical projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are on time and within budget
Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor project progress Team and Resource Management:
Lead and manage teams of technicians, mechanics, and other staff
Ensure timely allocation of resources such as staff and machinery
Train and assist with assessing the performance of technical support staff

Strategic and Operational Support:
Align technical activities with overall business goals
Report on progress and changes to management
Analyze production data to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
