The IT Director provides strategic leadership and hands‑on management of all technology operations across the organization. This includes oversight of internal IT staff, daily support operations, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, vendor relationships, external support programs, MSP partnerships, and long‑term technology planning. The IT Director ensures that systems are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals. This position will involve some hands-on support of IT product and systems. Key Responsibilities Technology Leadership & Strategy Develop and execute the organization's technology roadmap aligned with business objectives Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to systems, processes, and security Establish IT policies, standards, and best practices across the organization Help the organization understand and implement effective AI opportunities IT Operations & Support Oversee daily IT support operations and ensure timely resolution of technical issues Manage help desk workflows, ticketing systems, and service-level expectations Maintain hardware, software, and network inventories Infrastructure & Systems Management Oversee the design, maintenance, and performance of servers, networks, cloud services, and business applications Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of all technology systems Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning Cybersecurity & Compliance Implement and monitor cybersecurity policies, tools, and training Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability reviews Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and data protection requirements Vendor, MSP & Budget Management Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and consultants Review, evaluate, procure, and maintain relationships with external support programs and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) Oversee procurement of hardware, software, and IT services Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost‑effective technology investments Negotiate contracts, renewals, and service-level agreements Team Leadership & Staff Management Lead, supervise, and develop internal IT staff, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and professional development Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Assign priorities, manage workloads, and ensure effective cross‑departmental support Provide clear communication to leadership regarding IT performance, risks, and opportunities Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership or management roles Strong knowledge of networking, systems administration, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity Experience managing IT support operations and technology projects Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills Preferred Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP, Microsoft, Cisco) Experience in multi‑site or multi‑department organizations Background in budgeting, vendor management, and strategic planning Windows and Apple computer support experience is desired. Work Environment Full‑time, on‑site, and/or client staff augmentation depending on organizational needs Occasional after‑hours or on‑call work for critical incidents or system maintenance Selected, qualified applicants will be required to complete a Skills Test to validate experience and expertise relevant to this position. Those who do not pass will not be considered. Passing applicants will then be required to complete a work assessment to identify work styles and habits, which is not a scored exercise. Following the assessment, an online interview will be scheduled.

Pay:

$85,000.00
