Job Description

Position Description You will serve as the SE Cyber Branch Head (BL25500) in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division;
SE & ALRE
Group; Support Equipment Department, SE Engineering Integration Division of
NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Position Duties/Responsibilities You will supervise branch personnel and manage resources to accomplish required tasking. You will plan, coordinate, manage and direct the development and implementation of IA/CS policies and guidance for the SE Engineering Division within the framework of Support Equipment Department's mission objectives. You will provide support for programs and technical matters, ensuring DoD, Navy and NAVAIR Cyber Security policy is appropriately tailored and included in program and contractual documents and is considered in technical and programmatic decisions. You will establish contacts with NAVAIR's CIO/ECH II and NAWCAD Cyber Security Information Security Officer CA and Embedded PMA Information Assurance Management representatives to maintain knowledge of Cyber Security policies applicable to SE. You will apply knowledge in Cyber Security to guide and review the work of subordinate employees. You will communicate up, down and across the SE organizations for the purpose of building relevant coalitions in support of achieving organizational goals. You will ensure personnel are properly trained and successfully executing assigned tasks on time while delivering technically sound products. You will identify staffing requirements to support mission demand and lead the effort to find new personnel to fill vacancies (e.g. lateral reassignments, merit promotions, CSS, etc.). You will perform all supervisory administrative functions including but not limited to approval of time and attendance, travel, training, performance evaluations, corrective action, etc. You will evaluate work performance of subordinates and recommend official performance ratings. You will ensure employees have and use the required processes, tools, and procedures to execute their tasks effectively. You will provide support of Knowledge Management activities through participation in working group and communities of interest/practice to promulgate and advance technical and business development of the branch, division, department, and SE domain.
