Job Description
Atlantic Health is seeking an IT Manager, Enterprise Business Systems, to lead the implementation, optimization, automation, and support of business applications across the health system. This role is responsible for ensuring key technology platforms in HR, Supply Chain, Finance, and Perioperative Service are aligned to support clinical excellence, operational efficiency, financial stewardship, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with deep healthcare IT expertise, strong experience with enterprise business platforms such as Oracle Fusion Cloud, and a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, develop, and retain a dedicated team of Analysts, Leads, and Architects. Lead the planning and execution of key initiatives for new systems selections, implementations, upgrades, optimization, and automation. Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, and career development plans. Promote a culture of accountability, partnership, and continuous improvement. Monitor, discuss, and review work performance of the team members and provide feedback. Application Delivery, Strategy & Governance Define and execute the enterprise business applications roadmap aligned to organizational strategy. Establish and enforce governance processes for enhancements, upgrades, and change management. Oversee lifecycle management of enterprise business systems including one or more areas of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (HCM, SCM, Finance, Payroll) and related boundary and peripheral applications. Ensure system reliability, performance, scalability, and support across a multi-site health system. Lead configurations, integrations, and enhancements to support evolving clinical and business workflows. Leverage analytics and reporting to enhance operational decision-making. Support modernization initiatives including cloud adoption and legacy system decommissioning. Stakeholder Partnership and Engagement Partner with business leaders across Human Resources, Supply Chain, Finance, Perioperative Services (SPD/OR), Nursing and Clinical Services, Security Services, and other operational areas. Collaborate with external Technology and Services Partners (e.g., Oracle, Deloitte) and internal cross-functional teams. Function as the primary point of contact for the business partners and facilitate communication with the right resources. Communicate system impacts, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership. Compliance, Risk & Data Integrity Ensure systems comply with HIPAA, Joint Commission, and internal ISS standards as well as Federal and State requirements. Maintain strong data governance, audit readiness, and internal controls. Identify and mitigate risks related to system performance, security, and data quality. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and data governance standards Education Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience Master's Degree preferred Experience 10+ years of experience in healthcare IT or business applications 3+ years in a leadership role managing teams and enterprise systems Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (HCM, Supply Chain, Finance) or comparable platforms Experience with supporting multi-site health system environments Core Competencies Strong understanding of healthcare operations (Supply Chain, Perioperative Services, Finance, HR, Nursing and Clinical Services, Security Services) Experience with automation, AI-enabled workflows, or digital transformation initiatives Familiarity with data analytics and reporting platforms that support operational insights Proven success delivering complex system implementations and managing vendor relationships Expertise in requirements gathering, solution design, and process improvement Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Demonstrated resilience and ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments Effective facilitation, training, and organizational leadership skillsSimilar jobs in Morristown, NJ
