IT Director

Overview Confidential company headquartered in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an energetic and strategic IT Director to lead our technology initiatives, oversee infrastructure, and drive digital transformation. This pivotal role involves managing the company's IT systems, ensuring robust security, and aligning technology strategies with business goals. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for innovation, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of modern IT practices. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies that support organizational growth and operational excellence. Oversee the management of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, databases, and cloud services. Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of secure network systems utilizing Cisco routers, firewalls, WAN/LAN configurations, and network security protocols. Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and cloud services ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency. Supervise IT staff, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement. Will be required to ensure that the IT department is compliant with regulations such as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act Privacy Rules and Data Security Guidelines. Oversee technical support operations including desktop support, remote access software, and system engineering to ensure seamless service delivery across all departments. Drive project management initiatives utilizing Agile methodologies to deliver innovative solutions on time and within scope. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies. Implement information security measures to protect sensitive data against cyber threats through network security protocols and regular vulnerability assessments. Travel out of state to oversee new store openings and assist technology staff is required Experience At least 10 years proven experience in leading IT operations with supervisory responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Experience setting up new locations from an IT, Telecom, and Data Security perspective. Extensive background in managing enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, databases (SQL), networks (LAN/WAN), virtualization (VMware), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear language for diverse audiences. Skilled in vendor management, contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Knowledge of disaster recovery planning, business continuity strategies, and compliance standards related to information security. Leadership experience supervising technical teams while fostering professional development and organizational growth.

Pay:

$100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
