Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Construction Manager to join our CBN America LLC team in an in-office role. This position combines hands-on engineering design with construction coordination, focusing on the planning, design, and execution of voice, data, and video network infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will translate connectivity requirements into technical, actionable engineering solutions that support scalable, reliable, and compliant telecom networks. You will also plan, design, and oversee the installation of voice, data, and video network infrastructure, including fixed wireless, fiber optics, wireless systems, and copper cabling, translating connectivity needs into technical, actionable blueprints using tools like GIS and AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities Design and develop telecommunications network infrastructure including fixed-wireless network, fiber optic, wireless, and copper systems Plan and engineer outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) construction projects Create, review, and modify engineering drawings, network layouts, splice plans, and cable routing designs Use GIS, AutoCAD, and related tools to develop accurate and scalable network designs Perform engineering analysis including route feasibility, pole loading, conduit capacity, and right-of-way constraints Support make-ready engineering for aerial and underground fiber installations Coordinate with construction and installation teams to ensure designs are properly implemented in the field, and with project managers to align schedules Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, local codes, and permitting requirements Prepare engineering deliverables including as-builts, redlines, technical reports, and design documentation Review subcontractor engineering work for accuracy and compliance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field preferred Experience in telecommunications engineering, fixed-wireless access, network design, or utility construction engineering Strong knowledge of fiber optic networks, broadband infrastructure, and/or wireless systems Proficiency in GIS and AutoCAD (or similar engineering design software) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical documentation Understanding of OSP/ISP engineering standards and telecom construction practices Knowledge of pole loading analysis, conduit design, and network planning is a plus
