To keep up with demand, we're expanding our Professional Services team, and we're looking for someone who's as passionate about technology as they are about teamwork. What You'll Do We are seeking a skilled and motivated Professional Services Manager (PSM) to lead our Professional Services team. This role is responsible for managing client-facing projects, coordinating technical resources, and ensuring timely and successful delivery of IT solutions. The Professional Services Manager (PSM) reports to our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and is responsible for overall management and performance of project delivery and its team. This individual oversees managing the Professional Services team, maintaining a positive work environment, delivering top-notch customer service, as well as delivering a project management plan that aligns with the company's strategic objectives. The PSM is an active conduit of information for all areas including Professional Services (PS), Managed Services (MS), Network Security Operations Center (NSOC), and EasyIT Connect (low voltage cabling). The PSM has responsibility for project activities including planning, scheduling, risk management, and communication. This individual will work in our Connectwise Manage management system, coordinating technical resources as well as equipment handling through service ticket assignment and status follow-up. These projects may be internal to EasyIT, Managed Services or Professional Services in nature. The PSM will provide supervision and management of designated staff resources, both technical and non-technical.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Supervise and mentor technical and non-technical staff within the professional services team, with guidance from HR Manager and COO Assemble and lead project teams for projects and PS board efforts Manage projects, including but not limited to new sites, site moves, application deployments, changes within a server environment, network implementations, M365 migrations and deployments of devices In conjunction with the NSOC Manager, assist in management of EasyIT new tools implementation projects and other EasyIT initiatives that are needed to provide excellent service delivery Ensure EasyIT communicates in a timely manner with clients regarding project kickoff meetings, project status updates, project timeframes, Impact and Analysis Rollback plans for environmental impacting changes Track and manage change orders and budgeted hours on projects with the goal of project efficiency resulting in financial success of the company. Ensure systems documentation is updated before project closes Create and collaborate in creating PS KPI gauges and dashboards Participate in company team building events Work with technical resources to plan and manage risks on complex projects that are not yet templated Liaise with other internal teams to improve templated products to increase profitability on fixed fee projects As budget, schedule & skillset allow, be an additional technical resource on Go Live for migrations and deployments What We're Looking For We value broad, adaptable technical expertise over narrow specialization. Preferred skills and experience:
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead a technical team 4+ years of experience in project management, preferably within an MSP or similar IT services environment Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud services, and cybersecurity Excellent communication, organizational, and problem- solving skills PMP, ITIL, or similar certification is not required but is a plus Experience with project management tools Experience with a PSA is a plus
