Job Description
H&G Nursing Homes is seeking a dependable, hands-on IT Manager to oversee technology operations across our two skilled nursing facilities, Home Health, Therapy, and corporate operations. This position serves as the primary IT resource for the organization and is responsible for keeping our technology reliable, secure, and available to support resident care, patient services, and business operations. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on technical support for computers, tablets, printers, phones, software, networks, and other technology. Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, email, and employee technology access. Maintain hardware, network infrastructure, wireless systems, servers, and other IT equipment. Support electronic medical records and other healthcare software systems. Manage cybersecurity, antivirus, endpoint protection, backups, and data security. Support HIPAA privacy and security requirements related to technology. Maintain IT equipment and software inventories and coordinate purchasing and replacements. Manage relationships with outside IT vendors and service providers. Assist with system upgrades, technology projects, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Assist with regulatory surveys, audits, and technology-related compliance. Respond to significant technology outages or emergencies affecting patient care or operations. Travel between H&G locations as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience in IT support, systems administration, network administration, or a related field. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365. Experience with user accounts, system access, networking, and cybersecurity. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple locations and needs, and maintain confidentiality. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Healthcare IT experience is preferred , particularly experience with skilled nursing, long-term care, Home Health, Therapy, EMR systems, HIPAA security, cybersecurity, or network administration. An associate's or bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent education and hands-on experience will be considered.
