This role is about being a trusted advisor, guiding clients, and helping them make better technology decisions. Some things you need to know: Technology roadmaps (12-36 month planning) Business process analysis and improvement Cybersecurity strategy and risk management Cloud and infrastructure strategy (Microsoft 365, Azure) Backup and disaster recovery planning AI and emerging technology Budgeting and lifecycle planning Vendor evaluation IT governance, policy development, and alignment to business and compliance requirements Client engagement: Leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) Communicating technical concepts in business terms Building relationships with leadership Internal collaboration: Providing direction to engineering teams Ensuring standards and best practices Advising on complex projects What this role is

Friday Education & Experience Required:

7+ years of hands-on experience in IT engineering, consulting, or architecture roles Broad technical experience across infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, and security Experience working directly with clients or business stakeholders Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences Experience developing or advising on IT governance frameworks, policies, or compliance standards

Preferred:

Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or consulting environment Prior experience in a vCIO, advisory, or client-facing strategic role Exposure to business process improvement, budgeting, or vendor management Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Security, ITIL, etc.)

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
