The Manager Information Technology Infrastructure will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our healthcare plan's technology infrastructure. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in IT infrastructure management, a deep understanding of healthcare operations, and the ability to drive technological advancements that align with our business goals.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure strategy that supports the company's mission, objectives, and growth plans with a strong focus on cloud architecture. Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure managers, engineers, analysts and technicians, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. Define and maintain the architecture for the healthcare plan's technology infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions that meet the needs of various healthcare business units. Oversee the management, configuration, and optimization of network infrastructure, servers, storage, and virtualization platforms. Ensure the continuous availability and performance of critical healthcare applications and systems. Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive healthcare data and ensure compliance with industry regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST). Oversee cybersecurity team to develop and enforce information security policies. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal disruption to operations in the event of an outage or disaster. Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, ensuring effective communication, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring. Prepare and manage the infrastructure budget, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost-effective solutions. Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in healthcare IT and infrastructure to drive continuous improvement and innovation.QUALIFICATIONS
Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements. Previous experience managing a redundant Azure environment is a plus. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex IT infrastructure solutions. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Successful complete a Health Care Sanctions background check.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration or 12 years of equivalent work experience. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 6 years in a leadership role within a healthcare environment. Must have previous experience achieving SOC 2 Type 2 Certification.
