Job Summary:
The Director of Implementation & Delivery Management, O& PS is the technical executive responsible for the successful deployment of our solutions to large-scale asset owners and government entities. This leader leads a specialized team of Solution Architects and Consultants who translate complex public sector requirements into technical realities. They manage a high-performing team of Solution Architects and Implementation Consultants, focusing on technical excellence, resource profitability, and product adoption to ensure that owner and public sector infrastructure projects and workflows are executed with surgical precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Governance & Solution Integrity Architectural Oversight:
Serve as the final authority on solution design. Ensure that technical configurations for customers are scalable and align with industry standards (Digital Twins and Asset Management).
Technical Risk Management:
Identify potential technical "dead ends" or custom code risks early in the lifecycle. Lead the technical "Blueprints" and "Technical Readiness" reviews.
Product-to-Service Loop:
Act as the primary liaison to the Product team, advocating for features that reduce technical implementation friction and eliminate the need for custom workarounds.
Compliance & Security Standards:
Ensure all technical deliveries meet stringent Public Sector requirements, as well as regional data residency laws.
Resource Management & Technical Utilization Technical Capacity Planning:
Work closely with the Sr. Manager of AECO Resource & Project Management to manage resource allocation, ensuring the right technical talent is assigned to the right projects based on skill set and time zone.
Utilization Targets:
Own the Billable Utilization metrics for the delivery team, balancing employee burnout with corporate profitability targets.
Skills Gap Analysis:
Regularly assess the technical competencies of the delivery team and partner with the Enablement team to fill gaps in internal tech advancements as well as emerging industry tech.
Billable Utilization:
Own the regional utilization targets. You are responsible for ensuring the technical team is productive and that their time is accurately captured and billed.
Skillset Development:
Identify emerging AECO tech trends (e.g., AI in construction) and ensure the delivery team is trained and certified to implement them.
Commercial Support, Scoping and Project Health SOW Technical Validation:
Partner with the Manager of Professional Services Business Development, AECO to validate the technical feasibility of Statements of Work. Ensure the services quoted match the customer's actual technical environment. Technical Scoping for

Serve as the technical lead for RFP responses, ensuring that proposed architectures meet the unique "Service Level Agreements" (SLAs) required by government contracts.
