About LogisticsWorks LogisticsWorks is a growing third-party logistics (3PL) company with warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations in Pennsylvania and Florida. We provide warehousing, inventory management, transportation, cross-docking, and fulfillment services for a variety of industries. As we expand our capabilities, we are investing in e-commerce fulfillment solutions to support Amazon sellers, Shopify merchants, direct-to-consumer brands, and other online retailers. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead both the technology and AI initiatives that will support the next phase of our growth. Position Overview We are looking for a Technology, AI & E-Commerce Fulfillment Manager to help build and manage the systems infrastructure required to support modern e-commerce fulfillment operations. This individual will work closely with ownership, warehouse management, and operations teams to evaluate, implement, and optimize the technology stack needed to efficiently process online orders, manage inventory, integrate sales channels, automate shipping workflows, and identify opportunities for AI-driven process improvements throughout the organization. The ideal candidate has experience working within a 3PL, fulfillment center, warehouse operation, or e-commerce environment and understands how warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping software, marketplaces, online stores, and AI technologies can work together to create efficient, scalable operations. AI & Process Optimization Leadership In addition to managing fulfillment technology, this role will help LogisticsWorks identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency across warehousing, transportation, customer service, inventory management, sales, marketing, and administrative processes. The ideal candidate understands both operational logistics and practical AI applications and can help the organization evaluate, implement, and manage solutions that reduce manual work, improve decision-making, and create scalable workflows.
Responsibilities:
E-Commerce & Fulfillment Technology Evaluate and recommend fulfillment technologies and software platforms Design and implement workflows for e-commerce order fulfillment Integrate warehouse management systems with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, Walmart Marketplace, and other sales channels Configure and manage shipping platforms, carrier integrations, and label generation systems Develop processes for inventory synchronization across multiple sales channels Work with warehouse operations teams to optimize receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes Assist with implementation and optimization of WMS platforms and related technologies Troubleshoot data, inventory, and integration issues Coordinate with software vendors, developers, and third-party service providers Create documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials Support future automation initiatives including API integrations and fulfillment process automation AI & Business Process Improvement Evaluate AI tools and technologies that can improve operational efficiency across warehousing, transportation, customer service, sales, marketing, and administration Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend automation solutions to reduce manual tasks Develop and implement AI-driven processes for data analysis, reporting, customer communications, and operational visibility Research emerging technologies and provide recommendations on how they can support company growth Create AI-assisted workflows for inventory management, order processing, customer support, and internal operations Collaborate with leadership to build a long-term technology and automation roadmap Utilize AI tools to improve employee productivity, documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures Assist in integrating AI solutions with existing WMS, ERP, CRM, and fulfillment platforms Monitor performance metrics and identify areas where AI and automation can generate measurable operational improvements Qualifications Required Experience in e-commerce fulfillment, 3PL operations, warehouse technology, or supply chain systems Strong understanding of Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and online marketplace operations Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) Familiarity with shipping software and carrier integrations Understanding of inventory management and order management systems Strong problem-solving and project management skills Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and operational teams Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve business processes and operational efficiency Strong understanding of modern AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies Ability to analyze workflows and identify automation opportunities Preferred Experience implementing or managing 3PL fulfillment operations Experience with platforms such as ShipStation, ShippingEasy, Cin7, Extensiv, Deposco, Logiwa, NetSuite, Magaya, or similar systems Knowledge of API integrations and middleware platforms Experience managing software implementation projects Understanding of EDI, ERP, and supply chain technology Experience building AI-powered workflows using Zapier, Make, n8n, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar platforms Familiarity with AI agents, workflow automation, and API-driven integrations Experience creating dashboards, reporting systems, and business intelligence solutions Understanding of process improvement methodologies and operational optimization What Success Looks Like Within the first 6-12 months, this individual will help LogisticsWorks establish a scalable e-commerce fulfillment operation capable of supporting: Shopify merchants Amazon sellers Direct-to-consumer brands Marketplace fulfillment Multi-channel inventory management Automated order processing and shipping workflows Additionally, this individual will: Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks through automation and AI solutions Reduce manual administrative tasks through workflow automation Create reporting and visibility tools that improve operational decision-making Implement technology integrations that synchronize inventory, orders, shipping, and warehouse operations Develop scalable processes that support future growth without significantly increasing overhead Create a company-wide AI adoption strategy that enhances productivity across warehousing, transportation, customer service, sales, marketing, and administration The goal is to create a seamless operating environment where inventory, orders, shipping, warehouse operations, customer communications, and internal workflows remain synchronized across all platforms while leveraging AI and automation to maximize efficiency. Compensation Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated expertise in both e-commerce fulfillment technology and AI-driven process improvement. Location This position may be based in either: Pennsylvania Florida Hybrid and remote arrangements may be considered for highly qualified candidates, with occasional travel to company facilities as needed.
