This role owns the full lifecycle of hardware and software assets across Ryan's global footprint, ensuring accurate data, financial transparency, audit readiness, and effective support of business services. The Asset Manager partners closely with IT, Finance, Procurement, Cybersecurity, and ESM teams to maximize the value of technology investments while reducing operational and compliance risk. Ryan's Key Results People:
Leads the IT Asset Management team as a core ESM capability, fostering collaboration across global IT and business teams. Provides guidance, standards, and enablement to regional support teams and asset specialists. Promotes a culture of accountability, data quality, and continual improvement consistent with ITIL practices.
Client:
Ensures enterprise-wide visibility into IT assets supporting Ryan's business services. Acts as the escalation point for asset-related issues impacting service delivery, audits, or financial reporting. Partners with stakeholders to ensure asset data supports incident, change, and service request workflows within Ivanti.
Value:
Establishes and matures IT Asset Management as a value-driven practice, enabling informed decision-making, lifecycle optimization, and cost control. Strengthens audit readiness, CMDB integrity, and compliance posture. Supports Ryan's global growth by delivering scalable, standardized asset processes across regions.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in IT Asset Management, CMDB, or lifecycle governance within a global enterprise environment.
Computer Skills:
Strong skills in Microsoft® Office 365, especially Microsoft® Excel, Access, and Outlook. Strong knowledge of ITIL practices, with emphasis on IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, and Service Value System concepts.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated experience administering and operating enterprise asset management platforms, including Ivanti Neurons. Proven ability to analyze asset data, identify trends, and support decision making across IT, Finance, Procurement, and Security. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
Certificates and Licenses:
I ITIL Foundation certification required. ITIL Practice Manager or other advanced ITIL certifications preferred. Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), or equivalent certifications strongly preferred. Ivanti Neurons and Ivanti Asset Management certifications are a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position provides functional leadership and governance over enterprise asset management activities. The Asset Manager has one direct report, an IT Asset Management Specialist, and provides day-to-day guidance, prioritization, and oversight of asset management operations.
