Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and execution of Building Information Modeling strategies across our project teams and studios. This is a technical leadership role with direct accountability for establishing standards, driving model quality, and advancing the firm's digital workflows
  • from foundational Revit processes through data-rich, AI-ready information modeling. The position is well-suited to someone who is equally comfortable mentoring project teams on the floor and pioneering new technology initiatives at the firm level
  • someone who brings both deep BIM expertise and the organizational discipline to drive consistent, measurable improvements across a collaborative design environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead BIM execution planning at project kickoff and key milestones, advising teams on appropriate Level of Development and Level of Detail for deliverables
  • Manage, mentor, and provide technical leadership to Project BIM Leads across studios
  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve standard BIM workflows, processes, and quality control practices
  • Perform regular model audits and coordinate with consultants to ensure interoperability between architectural and consultant models
  • Champion the "Information" component of BIM
  • advancing data-rich, metadata-driven models to support design intelligence, automation, simulation, and downstream AI initiatives
  • Identify, develop, and maintain digital asset and detail libraries, including custom content creation
  • Administer firmwide Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) accounts and manage related project configurations, software licensing, and cloud collaboration platforms
  • Design and deliver training programs ranging from Revit fundamentals to advanced workflows, developing materials aligned with firm standards
  • Establish, track, and report metrics related to technology initiatives, software utilization, and ROI
  • Identify, evaluate, and pilot emerging technologies, software, and tools aligned with the firm's mission
  • Lead and contribute to technology-focused research and development initiatives and special projectsQualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • or equivalent experience
  • 5 to 8 or more years of experience in the Architectural industry with working knowledge across all phases of professional services, from planning and schematic design through project closeout
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing project-specific BIM workflows from initiation through completion
  • Expert-level knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud and related BIM software
  • Solid understanding of Navisworks, CAD applications, and AEC industry best practices
  • Experience in training program design and delivery
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead a technical team and report to leadership
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentPreferred Experience
  • Strong design and technical background in architecture or engineering
  • Knowledge of the Revit API
  • Familiarity with design and visualization tools such as Rhino, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with Content Catalog (formerly UNIFI), Guardian, Ideate Software, Clarity, and Dynamo
