About TechNova Systems TechNova Systems is a growing IT staffing and consulting firm dedicated to connecting top-tier technology talent with leading clients across the United States. We specialize in placing skilled professionals in roles spanning Business Analysis, Project Management, Data Analytics, Software Development, and more. Role Overview We are looking for a driven and connected Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The ideal candidate brings an established network of direct clients and prime vendor relationships in the US IT staffing market. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and driving the placement of IT consultants across a wide range of technology disciplines. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with direct clients and prime vendors in the US market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and vendor managers
  • Source and manage IT staffing requirements for positions including Business Analysts, Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Data Analysts, Software Developers, and other IT roles
  • Partner with the recruiting team to ensure timely and quality delivery of candidates to clients
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms with clients and vendors
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue and placement targets
  • Maintain accurate records of client activity and pipeline in CRM tools What We Are Looking For
  • Proven experience in IT staffing sales or business development (all experience levels welcome)
  • Existing network of direct client contacts and/or prime vendor relationships in the US IT staffing industry
  • Strong understanding of the US bench/subcontracting model (C2C, W2, 1099)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM tools is a plus Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary $60,000 to $70,000 per year plus performance-based commission
  • Hybrid work flexibility (Fairfax, VA office)
