Registered Nurse Infusion

Category Nursing - RN - Infusion Job Type Direct Hire An exciting direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with an infusion and home healthcare background. This role provides a unique blend of hands-on clinical care and crucial administrative responsibilities in a newly established pharmacy and infusion suite. As the initial and primary nurse on the team, you'll oversee patient infusions onsite and in-home, working with both acute and specialty medications.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (variable, with on-call rotation) Travel up to one hour in any direction to patient homes Flexibility to handle environments with animals or cigarette smoke

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver skilled nursing care in both infusion suite and patient homes Implement and manage physician orders and comprehensive care plans Oversee compliance with clinical protocols, agency policies, and regulatory standards Conduct patient assessments, develop teaching plans, and ensure timely service scheduling Complete and monitor nursing documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate new staff as the team expands Participate in continuous quality improvement, emergency response, and team decision-making Collaborate with Nurse Manager and Operations Manager to drive policy development and operational efficiency

Requirements & Qualifications:

Graduate of accredited nursing program (BSN required; MSN preferred) Current RN license in good standing Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in home infusion, specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy, or critical care At least 1 year within the last 5 years of supervisory or administrative management in a relevant setting Pediatric nursing experience preferred Expertise in IV therapies, vascular access devices, infusion protocols Willingness to be on call, including nights and weekends for urgent situations Proficiency with MS Office Valid driver's license The role offers a competitive compensation package up to $120k.
